On April 15, it was announced that the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program had reached the limit in approving funds.

On the Small Business Association (SBA) website, SBA announced, "Lapse in Appropriations Notice: SBA is unable to accept new applications at this time for the Paycheck Protection Program or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)-COVID-19 related assistance program (including EIDL Advances) based on available appropriations funding. EIDL applicants who have already submitted their applications will continue to be processed on a first-come, first-served basis."

1. In today’s H-2B Workforce Coalition call, and in light of DHS suspending its rule on supplemental H-2B visas for 2020, ALCC has signed onto a letter to be sent to DHS next week. There are seven specific “asks” in the letter, mainly focused on stressing that H-2B petitions should receive similar treatment to H-2A, permitting H-2B workers to be transferred between employers (including those already in country from 1^st cap), and making supplemental visas available should there be a swift rebound to the economy.
