CSU trial gardensToday, Dr. Klett announced that due to coronavirus precautions, the traditional evaluation day event for the CSU flower garden trials has been canceled. In order to move forward, industry evaluators are encouraged to visit the gardens the first week in August to submit their evaluations.

From this morning’s email notification:

Evaluation Day Changes

A recent announcement from CSU stated that all events on University property scheduled before August 24, 2020 have been cancelled due to COVID-19. We applied for an exemption but were denied. We just heard the final decision on July 21, 2020. It is very important that we still get industry evaluations. Instead of the formal event we encourage evaluators to come anytime from August 3-7, 2020 between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. We will have staff (wearing gray CSU Trial Garden shirts) present during this time to help with on-line evaluations and have paper forms available. There will be no formal program or lunch on August 4th or 5th but we encourage you to come to evaluate throughout the week of August 3-7, 2020.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but this was a recent decision by CSU out of my control.

A detailed e-mail will follow to those invited earlier. If further question please e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] or call Jim Klett at 970-218-0104.
