Disaster Preparedness MonthSeptember is National Preparedness Month, and several government agencies have partnered to present a disaster preparedness webinar for small business owners. The webinar, “Disasters Don’t Wait. Make your Plan Today,” takes place Wednesday, September 16 at noon. Registration is now open for this free webinar.

The webinar will address discuss how to prepare for severe weather, interruptions due to the pandemic, and other disasters that can impact the operations of small businesses. Presenters will include representatives from small businesses who will share their stories of disaster preparedness and recovery.

According to the US Small Business Association, the webinar will also cover what small business loans are available after a disaster, what tools are available to help businesses prepare, and what business owners need to know about insurance coverage.

The webinar is presented by the SBA, Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety, and Insurance Information Institute.
