Important Updates to ALCC Membership Classes & Dues Structure

We are excited to announce important updates to the ALCC membership structure and dues, effective with the upcoming renewal cycle. These changes, approved by the ALCC State Board of Directors, are designed to better reflect the diverse range of businesses in Colorado's green industry and to ensure a sustainable model for delivering on our mission and programs now and into the future.

What’s Changing?

Updated Membership Class Structure

ALCC has revised its member class levels based on gross annual sales revenue. This update provides a more accurate framework to recognize the diversity of business models and sizes among our members.

Adjusted Dues

As part of the revised class structure, some members may experience a change in their membership dues. These adjustments are designed to ensure that all members contribute equitably according to their size and capacity.

Verification for Lower Tiers

To qualify for Class A or Class B (the two lowest membership tiers), companies will now be required to provide supporting financial documentation (such as a financial statement or an accountant’s letter) verifying their gross annual sales revenue. Without this documentation, companies will be placed in Class C dues at the time of renewal.

Why This Matters

Fairness and Accessibility

We are committed to maintaining accessibility for businesses of all sizes. This updated structure ensures that membership dues are equitable and reflects the varying capacities of our members.

Supporting Our Mission

Your membership dues are vital for ALCC to continue advocating for the industry, providing education, and offering valuable programs to all members. These adjustments ensure that ALCC remains sustainable and able to serve all members effectively.

Transparency and Accountability

Requiring verification for the lowest pricing tiers ensures that each company is paying a fair share, helping us maintain fairness, sustainability, and transparency in our operations.

Next Steps

We will be sending out a brief survey soon to collect updated revenue information from our members.

If your company falls into Class A or Class B, you will be asked to upload a qualifying financial document during the renewal process.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected] or 303-757-5611.

Thank you for your continued support and for being an essential part of Colorado’s green industry!
