The Colorado 811 team has announced a bill that was introduced in the state Senate on February 12. If passed, the bill would create a commission charged with rule-making and enforcement of excavation damage prevention law.

GreenCO has announced its 2018 legislative priorities for the Colorado green industry. As a member of GreenCO, Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado supports these areas of focus. The following policy issues include those that will be closely monitored by GreenCO lobbyists on behalf of ALCC during the 2018 session, as well as some issues specific to Colorado landscape companies. As additional issues arise, ALCC representatives will bring them to the attention of the GreenCO Legislative Committee for review.

Apple Park is the new campus for Apple employees in Cupertino, California. The landscape for this ambitious project includes 30 acres inside the donut-shaped building. The grounds include a fruit tree orchard, native California grassland meadow, a pond, and an herb garden. There are two miles of walking/running paths and more than 9,000 trees on the site.
