Colorado Green Now

With the growing season over and many landscape companies slowing down for the winter months, there is an opportunity to switch focus to education and self-improvement. If you’re like most Coloradans and enjoy the great outdoors, podcasts can be a way to combine education and outdoor activity. Next time you go for a hike or a walk, pop in some earbuds and learn while you exercise. With nearly 1.7 million podcasts (with 42M+ episodes available) on Apple podcasts alone, there’s bound to be a series that fits your interests. Polis activates stage 3 of drought plan

Colorado Governor Jared Polis issued a "Governor's Memorandum of Drought Emergency on Monday, November 30. The memo announced "Phase 3 Activation of the Colorado Drought Mitigation and Response Plan."  Read the full memorandum.
The memo represents "full activation" of the plan, including activating the Municipal Water Impact Task Force. "The initial objective of the Task Force is for water suppliers to coordinate with each other and the state going into winter to prepare for anticipated drought-related challenges and opportunities in 2021," the memo says. ALCC will monitor this situation and notify members of any actions that may impact the operations of Colorado landscape and other green industry companies.
