ALCC would like to invite you to a couple of important H-2B events in June!

Colorado Representative Virtual Meetings, Tuesday, June 22, 7AM - 3PM (potentially 12PM)
In lieu of meeting with our Colorado representatives in person during the traditional July “fly-ins” that NALP has arranged in the past, ALCC will be coordinating Zoom calls on their behalf instead. While I would encourage you to still register with NALP for Legislative Days 2021 Virtual, please let me know if you are planning to attend. The day is scheduled from 7AM to 3PM, but my goal is to schedule the meetings tightly and hope to shorten the day to 7AM to 12PM if possible.

H-2B Communications Strategy Meeting, Monday, June 14, 2 - 3PM
In an effort to be more strategic and better coordinated in our communications, I would like for you to attend this 1-hour meeting. The goal is to refine our talking points, discuss better ways to coordinate how participants tell the H-2B story to our representatives, and what specific “ask” we have of them. It’s clear that our Colorado representatives in D.C. are largely supporters and advocates of H-2B, but what can we further ask them to do to obtain greater H-2B relief (ie: introduce bills, co-sponsor bills, outreach to other states to gain greater H-2B support)? Also joining us in this meeting will be Andrew Bray, NALP’s Vice President of Government Relations.
