Once again, Colorado landscape industry professionals are invited to engage with government officials at Legislative Days on the Hill. The annual event, hosted by NALP, is an opportunity for the landscape industry to make its concerns known to lawmakers. This year the event will be held virtually due to ongoing restrictions related to coronavirus.

Participants can attend a “Lobbying 101” session to help them prepare for their meetings. Even previous Day on the Hill attendees can benefit from a discussion of the unique circumstances of virtual lobbying. There will also be breakout sessions to discuss H-2B reform and climate change.

“This is an excellent opportunity to let our lawmakers know the concerns and challenges faced by the landscape industry,” said John McMahon, CEO of ALCC.

ALCC will lead the Colorado delegation, making appointments with Senators and Representatives for the week. Participation in the meetings and other events is free, but registration is required. Colorado landscape professionals can register at the NALP website but are also encouraged to contact John McMahon to confirm participation in the Colorado delegation calls.
