Tom TrenchIt is with great sadness that ALCC shares the passing of Tom Trench, longtime ALCC member and past board president. Tom is survived by his wife Debbie, daughters Jennifer and Laurie, and granddaughters Alyssa and Annabella, as well as a myriad of loved ones and friends. His loss will be felt across the Colorado green industry.

"We were shocked and saddened to hear of Tom's passing," said John McMahon, ALCC CEO. "He was a valued member of our industry, and it is clear by the outpouring of love we've seen that he had a tremendous impact on many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues."

No services are currently planned due to restrictions on gatherings. But his family hopes to host a celebration of life this summer. We will share details on this event as soon as they are available. ALCC is also working with the Trench family and friends to establish a scholarship in Tom's memory. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Tom can contribute to the scholarship fund when it is available.

We will share a remembrance of Tom Trench in Wednesday's Colorado Green NOW and hope to have more information about the scholarship fund by then. If you wish to share your own thoughts or memories, please send them to [email protected]. We hope to share some of them on Wednesday or in an upcoming issue of Colorado Green magazine.

Condolences can be sent c/o Debbie Trench, 12687 E Bates Cir, Aurora CO 80014.
