Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District was among the organizations named Partners of the Year in the 2020 WaterSense awards. The award winners were announced October 7 during a WaterSmart Innovations webinar held in lieu of the canceled conference. It was Northern Water's first such award recognition.

Northern Water earned its Partner of the Year Award by collaborating with a number of organizations to promote water efficiency, including the 33 cities it serves. The agency's well-attended, annual conservation fair, its Collaborative Water-Efficient Landscape Grant Program, and its educational collaborations and offerings were among the efforts lauded by WaterSense.

Learn more about the award in the video below.

ALCC'S Colorado Green Now email on October 28 failed to include Northern Water's WaterSense Award in a story about Colorado green industry winners. We regret the error.
