The program has been expanded for 2019, with an additional day of education sessions focused on industry advocacy.

As in previous years, the program will begin on July 15 with Renewal and Remembrance, the largest service event in the landscape industry. Volunteers will work to beautify Arlington National Cemetery.

On July 16, participants can attend a full day of sessions, including:

  • Defending the Landscape Industry at the State and Local Level; Growing the NALP Grassroots Network and Engaging State and Local Policymakers

The fee to attend is $199. This includes lunch on Tuesday and the day of educational programming. The event will also feature a keynote speaker, Colonel Greg Gadson, decorated Army commander and New York Giants honorary captain.

“This is a great opportunity to let your legislators know about the issues that affect you, your business, and the landscape industry,” says ALCC CEO John McMahon. McMahon has begun scheduling meetings with legislators for the Colorado delegation.
