Fort Collins Utilities (FCU) is looking for feedback from the landscape industry as they work to establish new irrigation codes. They will host a virtual meeting July 14 to present the proposed code changes and collect feedback. Landscape professionals who work in Fort Collins are encouraged to attend.

The proposed changes involve establishing irrigation codes for “new single-family residential irrigation installations in Fort Collins.” According to FCU, “currently, there are no irrigation codes for residential homes, and as the community grows, this becomes a necessity to manage our water resources into the future. These codes, if approved, would be effective in 2022.”

The meeting will be hosted on Zoom on Wednesday, July 14 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Attendees must register online to receive the Zoom link.
