Best Yard gives Parker landscape companies a home Email

Landscape companies in Parker have had limited to no options for yard space—or at least until Best Yard opened their 7+ acre site to other firms needing a base of operations. It is the only property in Douglas County zoned for use by multiple landscape firms.

“This is a major growth area,” says Best Yard’s John Dominy. “There are more than 500 landscape companies here to serve that growth.” With more strict zoning, many firms have no place to park trucks and equipment, store materials or place a dumpster.

After his 10-plus year re-zoning effort, Dominy and his firm now offer one big home for other landscape companies on Motsenbocker Road which has easy access to I-25 and C-470. Yard space sits behind a 16-ft. retaining wall and berms with landscaping that keep passersby unaware of what lies within.

Companies can rent a small or large space suited to their needs. They may fence it or not, unload debris into shared recessed dumpsters set 4 feet into the ground and gain peace of mind knowing the gated site has constant security monitoring.

“It’s a win/win,” says Dominy. “Rather than competing, tenants find they are referring one another for jobs that do not match their own specialty.” For information about the storage yard, [email protected] or http://landscape-contractor-storage.business.site
