Train your irrigation techs! Get your irrigation techs the training they need. Join us for ALCC's 32-hour Irrigation boot camp over 4 days from Friday, March 13 through Saturday, March 21. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. The registration deadline and last day to cancel without penalty is Wednesday, March 11. This irrigation boot camp will address water management strategies that irrigation techs can apply, to save water and irrigate responsibly during this dry year. 

Participants will learn:

• Irrigation system design and hydraulics
• Landscape math
• Irrigation system components
• Irrigation plan reading
• Water auditing and controller programming
• Soil composition and plants
• Trenching and utility locates
• Wiring and electrical troubleshooting, including two wire system troubleshooting

All participants will receive a Training Manual for Irrigation Technicians ($80 value). This session will include a full day of outdoor, hands-on training on irrigation basics done on the job (weather permitting).

Saturday, March 14, 2026 - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday, March 20, 2026 - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (outdoor training session to be held at Pickens Technical College)
Saturday, March 21, 2026 - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
