Learn how to apply the right maintenance practices at the right time to conserve resources at ALCC's Sustainable Landscape Management training class.

This SLM training class will be held at ProGreen EXPO 2026 on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Take advantage of a discounted registration fee, courtesy of Northern Water Conservancy District. This class is open to ALCC members only. Pre-registration is required and walk-ins will not be accepted. You do not need to be registered for ProGreen EXPO 2026 to register for this class (you may come to the class only). However, if you do plan to attend other classes and events at ProGreen, you must register for the conference.

This class is 4 hours long. After the class, attendees will take an online exam. A passing score on the exam will earn attendees the SLM certificate. 

All attendees must have a copy of the SLM training manual. The manuals can be purchased during the registration process. They can be shipped to you in advance (last day to register and choose the shipping option is Jan. 23), or picked up at the class. You may also pick up at the ALCC office, however arrangements must be made with staff in advance.

Price for class: $125.00 65.00 for the class. Register by Jan. 23, 2026. 
SLM manual price: Each registrant must bring a copy of the SLM manual to the class. The cost is $50.00 + shipping and tax (you may purchase the manual during the registration process). Manuals can be shipped in advance of the class, or picked up when you arrive at the class. If your company has already purchased an SLM manual, you may bring that to the class.
