Pricing and Estimating in Inflationary Times
Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM MDT
Category: Education

The landscape industry is experiencing an unprecedented rise in material costs and other disruptions that are severely impacting profitability for contractors. Companies that are providing fixed bids or engaging in maintenance contracts should have in place a dynamic pricing strategy to account for the rise in labor and material costs, market supply and demand, supply chain disruptions, seasonality, talent shortages, and other trends impacting the future of landscaping. Contractors are exposed to increasing profitability risk and to help navigate these inflationary challenges, they must act quickly and strategically to avoid financial and operational challenges. Join us on Oct. 20 at this 4-hour seminar to learn strategies for pricing and estimating during these inflationary times. Space is limited for this in-person educational event.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the principles for developing a dynamic pricing strategy.
  2. Learn how to address strategic, psychological, and economic elements in your pricing.
  3. Evaluate costs and build current and forward labor rates for more accurate estimating.
  4. Analyze estimated versus actual hours and labor rates to compute spread ratio for bidding.
  5. Discover new ways to realize price premiums and maximize profitability.
  6. Uncover ways to connect financial forecasting and pricing for better decision making.
