ProGreen EXPOEach year ProGreen EXPO explores new ways to support attendees’ education goals and to keep the format fresh and engaging. For 2016, ProGreen planners discussed how the conference can evolve to meet the changing education needs of the green industry and address current challenges that it faces.

Educational sessions are identified by tracks, each of which addresses a current issue of interest to the industry: industry and business growth; pesticides and pollinators; and water and the environment. The themes will extend beyond the educational sessions and onto the trade show floor, with interactive displays that will entertain and educate attendees on issues related to those themes.

Retaining and Engaging Employees: What Employees Really Care About presented by David Cabrera (Mountain States Employer’s Council)

The ULTIMATE Account Manager presented by Phil Harwood, MBA, CSP, LIC (Pro-Motion Consulting, Inc.)

Pesticides and Pollinators

Creating Landscapes for Insects - Or Not! presented by Whitney Cranshaw (Colorado State University)

Protecting Pollinators is Still a Hot Issue - What's Your Role? presented by Thia Walker (CSU Extension)

These sessions are eligible for Commercial Pesticide Applicator continuing education credits.

Water and the environment

Landscape Water Management & Planning Workshop presented Ted Moriarty (Irrigation Association)

Lessons Learned 2015: Landscape Industry Response to Drought presented by Brent Mecham, CID, CLWM, CIC, CAIS, CLIA, CGIA (Irrigation Association)
