Colorado Green Now

As pandemic restrictions continue to prevent large-scale events, ProGreen EXPO has pivoted to become the ProGreen EXPERIENCE. The conference and trade show for the Rocky Mountain region will take place February 22-25, 2021 online. The schedule is being confirmed, and registration will open soon.

“We’ve had the benefit of watching our green industry colleagues adapt education and trade shows for the COVID-19 era over the past nine months,” says John McMahon, CEO of ALCC, a presenting partner of ProGreen. “We are able to learn from them and apply best practices developed through earlier events.”

The ProGreen team understands that attendees may attendee sessions within their regular workday since they aren’t traveling to Denver for the event. Scheduling sessions with that in mind may allow more attendees to participate. Sessions are organized to help prevent “Zoom fatigue,” and creative opportunities for networking and interaction are being developed.

Without travel as a barrier to participation, there is hope that new attendees may register for the virtual event. And some speakers who had scheduling conflicts due to travel in the past may be available to present online in 2021.

Confirmed sessions include:

  • Cultivating and Keeping Key People – Jason New, McFarlin Stanford
  • How the Biden Administration will Impact the Future of H-2B visas for the Landscaping Industry in 2021 and Beyond – Keith Pabian, Pabian Law
  • Killer Contract Clauses – Troy Sibelius and Brian Janeck, Buckner Insurance
  • You Have a Budget, Now What? – Steve Steele, Steele Dynamic Services
  • Two-wire Irrigation Systems – Spencer Jordan, DBC Irrigation Supply
  • Pressure Regulation: How and Why? – Kurt Thompson, IrriTech Training
  • Firewise Landscaping – Irene Shonle, CSU Extension El Paso County
  • Beauty and the Bees: Understanding Pollinators and Designing a Landscape to Support Them – Deryn Davidson, CSU Extension Boulder County
Registration, session details, and more will be updated at www.progreenexpo.com as always.
