From the H-2B Workforce Coalition:
Please see the DHS response to the letter that Reps. Harris, Bergman, Keating, Pingree and the numerous other Members sent asking DHS to release additional H-2B visas. View/download the response.

In the letter, DHS says it will not release any more visas this year.  We need your continued help to reach out to Congress. Please do the following:
  • Please call your Representative and Senators today and tell them we need immediate H-2B cap relief. You can reach your Representative and two Senators through the Capitol switchboard at 202-225-3121. Once connected to your lawmaker's office, ask to speak to the staff person who handles H-2B issues. See a phone list of Colorado contacts.
  • If they have not already done so, encourage your Senators to cosponsor the Save Our Small and Seasonal Businesses Act. S. 792 and encourage your Representative to cosponsor H.R. 2004, the Strengthen Employment and Seasonal Opportunities Now (SEASON) Act and HR 4207, the Small and Seasonal Business Act. View/download a list of co-sponsors for each of these bills.
  • Please also call or visit in person with your Senators and Representatives at their district offices can find the local contact information for your Senators and Representative on their websites or through www.house.gov and www.senate.gov.
  • We also encourage you to work with your trade association and participate in any legislative days or outreach that your association may be doing. ALCC will lead a Colorado Delegation at NALP's Legislative Days on the Hill next week.
Thanks to everyone who continues to tell their stories to the media and write letters and reach out to their lawmakers. Please keep fighting for H-2B relief. We are doing the same on your behalf.
