The ProGreen EXPO partner organizations continue to monitor the situation around COVID-19 and explore options for the 2021 event. Organizers have already confirmed many speakers, all of whom have expressed the flexibility to present either virtually or in-person should conditions change.

“We understand that our industry is eager to network, learn, earn CEUs, and explore the trade show again,” said John McMahon, CEO of ProGreen partner organization ALCC. “We continue to explore options that will allow us to present the conference and trade show while making attendee safety our priority.”

There is hope that restrictions may be relaxed when the 100-person indoor capacity limit expires September 30. The ProGreen partners hope to announce a decision in early October, and the green industry will be notified.

The City of Fort Collins has instituted water restrictions due to ongoing drought conditions. Among the restrictions is a ban on landscape watering beginning October 1. The ban will remain in effect until an order of the City Manager lifts it; city officials expect that order to be made by November 30. A declaration made on Friday, September 11 declared the water restrictions, which affect both indoor and outdoor water use.
