ALCC is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by the membership. The board is the foundation of the association's leadership, working for the membership of ALCC to oversee ongoing assocation operations and set and implement a strategic plan. The Board meets every other month. Members are welcome to attend these meetings.

Carole is the president and owner of Camelot Design, a residential landscape design and consulting firm in Littleton. Before founding Camelot, Carole was the supervisor of horticultural maintenance and commercial landscape design for Inverness Development. She loves the combination of the ‘scientific' with the ‘creative' and that's why she chose the landscape industry as her career. Carole, her husband Brian and their dog Toby enjoy all things outdoors - skiing, kayaking, biking - and they love to travel. They've got their sights on Chile, Argentina and the Himalayas for destinations in the next three years.

Judd is the vice president and operations manager at Timberline Landscaping, Inc., a full-service contractor company providing commercial and residential landscape construction and maintenance in Colorado Springs. Judd attended Mesa State College and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and has spent the past 15 years in the landscape industry. Judd chose landscaping as a summer job to help pay for school but had no intentions of staying in the industry. After his first summer, he choose to stay working full-time, stating, "It was one of the best decisions I have made." Judd likes volunteering for ALCC because he is able to give back a little for an industry that has given him so much. He enjoys volunteering because of the sharing of knowledge between business professionals. Judd and his wife Sarah live in Colorado Springs. In his spare time, Judd enjoys golfing with friends, going to football games has recently been involved with community projects for underprivileged children.

Kevin is the vice president of sales, marketing and estimating for Landtech Contractors, a full-service commercial landscape construction and maintenance company. He has been in the landscape industry for more than 20 years and has always loved the outdoors. He wanted a career that was gratifying upon completing a job and seeing what was created, which is why he chose his profession. Prior to Landtech, Kevin worked at United Parcel Service as a supervisor while attending college. Kevin graduated from Metro State College of Denver with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial and Technical Studies with an emphasis in Business. He enjoys volunteering for ALCC because he has met so many great people and the camaraderie of being involved has been great for him personally as well as the organization. Kevin and his wife have two children as well as a golden retriever, They enjoy golfing, camping, hiking, traveling and spending time with family.

Jeff is the Vice President of Operations at Swingle, Lawn, Tree and Landscape Care in Denver. He oversees all of Swingle's business lines as well as the Christmas Decor franchise. Jeff has been with Swingle just over 10 years and in the green industry just over 20 years. Prior to Swingle, Jeff was the operations manager for Aeration Consultants. Originally in college to be an elementary school teacher, Jeff recognized that he really enjoyed working outdoors and watching things being built from the ground up. Jeff also believes that industry and association involvement is critical to individual, professional and personal development. Jeff and his wife Kelly and their children, love spending time in the mountains and enjoy fly fishing and skiing.

Bill Cary
Bill Cary is the landscape management director for Pickens Technical College, Aurora. His 35 years in the green industry include 12 years owning a landscape and irrigation business and 18 years as an educator. He studied landscape and horticulture at Colorado State University and is a CSU grad. Bill's passion for imparting job-friendly industry skills to students has resulted in a curriculum at Pickens Tech that emphasizes hands-on learning in conjunction with traditional academic styles and promotes the value of industry certifications. For many years, Bill has been a member of ALCC's certification committee and was instrumental in developing the permanent certification testing site on the Pickens campus. When he's not in the classroom or helping students in the greenhouse, Bill likes to fly fish, tie flies, hike, snow shoe, ski and ride motor cycles.
Laurel Madden
Laurel, Regional Sales Manager, Hunter Industries/FX Luminaire, has been in the landscape industry for 17 years. He began is career as an outside sales rep in Nashville, TN, with STI and then worked with Vista Outdoor Professional Lighting for several years. He says that volunteering for ALCC allows him the opportunity to help promote the value of and raise the bar of professionalism for the landscape industry. Laurel's job dictates that he is always on the road. Known as the "road warrior," Laurel likes to fish, golf and camp and confesses "I'm a Food Network junkie!"
Mark Pibramsky, CLT, CIC, CLIA
Mark is the owner of Earthscapes, a Vail Valley company, specializing in irrigation design, maintenance and water conservation. In the landscape industry for 22 years, Mark began his career at an irrigation company in Nebraska as a summer job while in college. After college, he moved to Colorado to ski bum for a year and stayed for the summer. He got a job with a landscape company in the Vail Valley and quickly learned that summers were just as much fun as winters, and he was making a better living in the summers. After working for a few years for two great companies—both ALCC members—he took the plunge and started his own business. Mark says his involvement with ALCC allows him to meet others in the industry, both locally and statewide. He met his wife while working for one of the landscaping companies during those summers in the Vail Valley. Mark and his family try to enjoy all that the Colorado high country has to offer. They camp, ski, hunt and like to run on the beautiful and scenic mountain trails.
Scott is the owner and President of Outdoor Craftsmen, Ltd., and has been in the landscape industry for 30 years. A Colorado transplant, Scott spent much of his career in Illinois. Scott chose the landscape industry purely by chance. As an artist, he found that he was able to fulfill his creative spirit in the construction of art in landscaping. Joining ALCC's board in 2009, Scott likes volunteering for ALCC because he believes he wouldn't have the opportunities he has today if others hadn't been there to give their time in volunteer roles before him. Scott has two sons. He enjoys sculpting, painting and plays golf a few times a week - even in the winter!
Jenn works as the Residential Landscape Designer and Residential Sales/Marketing Lead at Singing Hills Landscape, Inc. She has been in the landscape industry for seven years working in residential and commercial design and sales. An art major who "wanted to work in the garden," Jenn realized that a landscape career was a perfect fit. New to the Board in 2009, Jenn volunteers for the ALCC because she is passionate about giving back to the community, and being part of an organization for her chosen profession is important to her. She has three Siberian Huskies and occasionally fosters other huskies. Jenn likes to ski, hike, bake, paint, garden and run. Her goal is to climb to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.
Rob is President and COO of A Touch of Grass, Inc., a residential and commercial landscape maintenance company. With 15 years in the landscape industry, Rob's prior work experience includes working at Designscapes Colorado and Green Acres Nursery. He chose the profession because he loves working outdoors. Rob joined ALCC's board in 2009, and enjoys the networking and educational opportunities ALCC provides. Rob is also active in the International Footprint Association, a community/law enforcement organization and the International Order of Rocky Mountain Goats a wildlife conservation group/foundation. He enjoys training and riding his horse, Foxy, and playing with his dog, Cowboy.
Peter is the President of Distinctive Gardens by Pete Moss, Inc., a residential design/build company located in Englewood. He has been in the green industry for more than 20 years. Before opening Distinctive Gardens, Peter was the national sales and marketing manager for "Wildflower Carpet" King Ranch and Applewood Seed Company. Peter has served on ALCC's governance committee since 2007 and led the efforts for ALCC's WaterWise Garden at KUSA Channel 9 in Denver in 2003. He joined the board in January of 2009. Peter likes volunteering for ALCC because it gives him the opportunities to return some of the benefits of ALCC to the industry. Peter and his wife live in Denver and they enjoy playing tennis and golf, fly fishing and spending time with their grandchildren.
Zach is the owner and manager for Green Ink Designs, LLC, which specializes in residential and commercial landscape design and architecture. He is also a professor at Colorado State University in the landscape design and contracting program. Zach has spent 20 years in the landscape industry and chose it as his profession because it is gratifying to see meaningful projects make a positive impact on people. He enjoys volunteering because it gives him a chance to meet interesting people, but more importantly, it improves the face of the profession. Zach enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their two children.
The association recognizes the contributions of past presidents, who have provided an invaluable service in guiding the direction of the association for almost 50 years.
