Commercial Maintenance Account Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager

Bloom Floralscapes, LLC is a locally owned landscape firm. We, as a team, take pride in providing high-quality, detailed services for our clientele. We are a proactive, solutions-minded company that seeks to identify & anticipate the needs of our clients as well as their landscapes. We provide landscaping services to commercial & residential clients throughout the Greater Denver Metro area.

Position Summary:
Commercial Maintenance Account Manager is a full time, salaried position who will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervision of an assigned portfolio, creating a fun and safe work environment, while maintaining company standards, goals and profitability. A company phone and will be provided, for company use only.

Responsibilities include:
• To establish, develop and maintain close relationships with clients and potential clients. This position will be the main point of contact between the assigned portfolio of clients and the company
• Ensuring client satisfaction through routine and detailed site inspections, clear and effective communication and consistent relationship building
• Provide a fun and safe work environment, for employees, clients, and the general public
• Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting Company culture
• Attending weekly safety training meetings and team building exercises
• Attending weekly staff meetings to discuss the past and present week’s workload, equipment and manpower needs, project guidelines, budgets and accurate job tracking
• Estimating maintenance budgets and selling maintenance programs for new and existing clientele
• Estimating irrigation, renovation and design build budgets and selling the programs for new and existing clientele
• Coordinating with other Bloom Floralscapes team members to prepare and sell enhancement projects, annual flowers, and other seasonal décor
• Monitor job budgets and weekly/monthly job costs and reporting results to upper management
• Managing production for our high quality services, using best management practices, and working efficiently and safely at all times; including maintenance, renovation, annual flowers, irrigation and snow operations
• Project Management including sales, procurement, sub-contractor relations
• Ensuring all staff are provided with necessary safety requirements; tools, equipment and materials to complete tasks efficiently
• Ensuring all company policies, including equipment care, safety programs, and general behavior are followed by all staff
• Assisting in collecting assigned accounts receivables
• Attending seminars, workshops, and green industry conferences to remain current on all issues concerning the landscape industry, including best management practices, safety training, team building, and improving leadership skills
• New lead development
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Position requirements:
• 2+ years field experience
• Experience and knowledge of regional plants, best management/ proper horticultural practices, and irrigation systems
• Must be able to develop competitive estimates using company estimating system; analyze and perform take offs of blueprints and/ or field measurements, determine material, labor, equipment, and sub-contractors required for projects
• Passionate about the Green Industry
• Strong work ethic with the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize duties in an ever changing and fast paced environment
• Be professional in appearance and possess effective written & verbal communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Clean MVR

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Ag Science/Business, Landscape Maintenance, Forestry, Turf Grass, Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture or related field
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Prior sales, customer service, and/or landscape design experience
