CLT Training: Landscape Math & Plan Reading (English/Spanish), 9 am to 10:30 am, Pickens Technical College, 500 Airport Blvd., Aurora, CO. Learn how to read a plan accurately and how to calculate square feet, volume and other quantities for ordering landscape materials.
CLT Training: Instrument (English & Spanish), 10:45 am to noon, Pickens Technical College. Learn the basics of setting up and using the level to determine elevation differences.
CLT Training: Valve Repair (English/Spanish), 9 am to 10:30 am, Pickens Technical College, 500 Airport Blvd., Aurora, CO. How-to's for troubleshooting valve problems and repair techniques.
CLT Training: Mainline & Lateral Installation (English/Spanish), 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. 9 am to 10:30 am, Pickens Technical College, 500 Airport Blvd., Aurora, CO. EPA Free Building Tour and The Alliance Center, 2 to 4 pm, 1536 Wynkoop St. Sponsored by the GreenCO Foundation. Learn about the research project on the "Green Roof" and other energy saving techniques used in this very modern LEED building. Dr. James Klett, CSU, will answer questions about the irrigation system, plants being tested on the roof and how this helps with cooling the building.
