Day of Service
ALCC's Day of Service projects are an opportunity to come together to give back to our communities – and everyone leaves at the end of the day knowing they got more back than they gave. Learn more about this year’s projects at the bottom of the page.
About the projects:
Friday, April 20, 2018 The Southern Chapter will complete a service project for the family of Deputy Micah Flick, who was killed in the line of duty in Colorado Springs in February of this year. Micah is survived by his wife and 7-year-old twin children. We will be renovating the landscape of their front yard, where the tight-knit family spends their time on a regular basis. Highlights of the plan include new irrigation, sod installation, pruning existing trees and shrubs and installing a new paver patio. The chapter will also be donating and planting a memorial tree in honor of Micah.
